Salty Brioches with Coppa and mushrooms

Perfect for a party with friends, lay them into a basket and watch them fly off the shelves. Accompany with a glass of Barbera Monferrato DOC.

Ingredients for 12 brioches:

  • 1 Rounded puff pastry
  • 12 slices Coppa Vitale
  • Mushrooms
  • Garlic
  • Parsley
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

First of all roll out the puff pastry and with a sharp knife create 12 wedges.  Now roll each wedge up starting from the wide end and bake it in the oven following the dough’s packet. In the meantime brown a clove of garlic in a pan with olive oil, add the mushrooms cut in slices and cook until they become tender. Add salt and pepper.
When the brioches are ready, let them cool down and stuff them with a slice of Coppa and some mushrooms.
